British Values Day – 30/11/15
British Values Focus Day was hosted on Monday 30th November 2015 to coincide with St. Andrews Day. It was an opportunity for our children to explore British Values and consider the four patron saints of the British Isles.
We were treated to a guest speaker in assembly in the morning who talked about British values like; mutual respect, tolerance, democracy and individual liberty.
As the day was St. Andrews Day, for the rest of the day, children learnt about a particular saint in their class. The children then shared their findings with the other classes in their phase.
