Today, in Y6, as part of our learning on WW1, the children experienced a little of what life was like in the trenches during WW1. Tables were tipped over and loud, sounds were played initially before the sounds quietened as the fighting moved away from the trenches and daylight appeared. The children experienced this for thirty minutes stopping immediately when the command was given. 

The children will then use their writing next week to edit before publishing.
