On Monday, our school held a special Remembrance assembly to honour those who have served and are still serving in the armed forces. At 11 a.m., children and staff gathered to hold a minute’s silence, showing respect for the bravery and sacrifice made.
We listened to our year 6 ambassadors reading In Flanders Fields, which was written in 1915 by John McCrae. We also heard the Last Post played by a bugler. The children showed great respect throughout our assembly, demonstrating our school values.
