Whether it was through the rain of Thursday or the bright blue skies of Friday, Year 2 experienced the glorious Porchester castle. It was an absolute pleasure to explore the castle and for the children to begin to imagine what it might have been like hundreds of years ago when it was built.

The children learned about the theatre created by prisoners of the castle and considered some of the ways they may have been able defend themselves from intruders to the castle. A fabulous school trip.
