On Tuesday 27th February, children from Years 5 and 6 attended a workshop at Fratton Park. This event was called Show Racism the Red Card and children worked on their understanding of discrimination and racism alongside how this can be presented. In addition, they challenged stereotypes with the support of Portsmouth striker Yengi, realising that people can do all sorts of different things and that a preconceived notion isn't always the right one. The children participated well in the activities and enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside other schools and develop themselves.
